summer must-have: the midi skirt

allright, winter is not over yet, but it’s always nice to look ahead and dream of upcoming summer outfits. last year you already could observe it here and there, but this summer the midi skirt is definitely one of the must-haves in your wardrobe!

the midi skirt is a mid-calf length skirt, which reaches to your calf bone. you can wear it with sneakers or with heels to dress up. personally i prefer the midi-skirt in a-line. hereby you’ll find some inspirations on how to wear it and where to buy it. enjoy!

start-up of a lifestylestore

it has been a while that i’ve been posting. the reason for this is that i’ve been very busy with the start-up of a ‘lifestyle store with ski, snowboard, beach and surf clothing for teens, twenties and beyond!’

it was (and of course still is) a great project! a friend and former colleague of mine knew that i am a style coach and he asked me if i’d like to work with him. his businessplan for a conceptstore was ready but he needed someone to search for and buy the right clothes for the store. was i interested? yes, i think so 🙂 !

and that is how the project started for me: first step was to explore the ‘market’ by visiting fairs in berlin, amsterdam and münchen to discover the actual and upcoming trends. this made it easier for me to determine the style and concept of the store and to choose from the existing collections and give the store an exclusive ‘twist’.

next to deciding on the collections, i was also involved in the interior concept of the store, the design of the logo, the marketing activities for the startup, finding the right shop manager, organizing the opening events, … this project allowed me to give free rein to my creative passions!

and the great news is: there will be more collections to come, the project continues! curious? hereunder you’ll find some pictures.

trend alert: slip-on’s

sneakers are the most comfortable shoes to wear. luckily, this summer we will continue wearing them. however, the slip-ons are the upcoming trend of the coming summer and are an absolute must-have in your wardrobe!

how to wear your slip-ons?

my absolute favourites!

great projects in 2014!

hello everyone,

it’s been a while you’ve heard from me. i have to apologize for not having kept my blog up-to-date. this weekend i saw one of my ‘followers’ and she told me that the only reason why she’s on facebook is because of my blog and page. so, i thought it’s the perfect moment to start my blogging activities again!

2014, a new year, new projects!

and yes, i’ve started with a great project. an ex-colleague of mine will start a ski, snowboard & surf-lifestyle shop in kontich very soon, and he asked me to purchase the collections. waw! i didn’t had to think about it too long.

and that is why i’m completely into ‘beach and surf style mood’ for this summer and in ski & snowboard mood at the same time. searching for the perfect brands, discovering the amazing collections and… going to international fashion and sports exhibitions. what a great start of the new year! don’t you think?  i’ll keep you updated!

off course, i will continue my personal coaching activities in image and styling, workshops, personal shopping, etc. i’m so grateful to have the chance to combine all these things. that is what makes my job so fantastic!

a little sneak peak of my inspiration for the summer collections in the upcoming shop…

later, more on this…
